The core team of Holochain proposes a called Holo to create the necessary decentralized infrastructure. This is operated with a token called Holofuel. This token is backed by the computing capacity of the network so the number of tokens grows proportionally as the computing capacity is boosted.

To contribute to this infrastructure, you can buy a device called HoloPort that offers a quick configuration and, probably later, a program will be able to run on any device to contribute to that Holo network.

The existence of this DePIN allows agents to distribute their information, replicate it, make backups, and even partition it. All these functions also give the possibility to make advanced management of the keys of each agent through protocols, or that the applications increase their computing capacity among others.
